Details

Monarfloor Deck 18 is an acoustic overlay system designed to
reduce sound transmission through existing timber floors where the
timber deck remains.

Monarfloor Deck 18 is a composite tongue and groove floating floor
system consisting of an 8mm layer of LRAC foam bonded with a high
performance water based adhesive to 18mm moisture V313 P5 chipboard.
Monarfloor Deck 18 may be used over 18mm chipboard, OSB board or a
decking ply sub floor. It can also be used on steel frame floors over a
sub-floor of chipboard or plasterboard.

When installed as part of a complete sound reduction system it
enables a timber floor to meet the sound transmission regulations of
Part E.

Applications for existing timber floors
Supports floor loadings as defined in BS EN 1991-1-1:2002 +A1 2010 (Eurocode 1) which stipulates floor loading of 2 kN
BBA Certified
Superior performance – the recycled Low Resonance Acoustic Chip
(LRAC) foam used has excellent impact improvement characteristics and
superior stability within a single layer
Flame retardant – all LRAC foam used in Monarfloor® systems is flame retardant
Exceeds the performance requirements of ADE
